Born as the first child of 10 siblings between father, Lee Kang Whan and
mother, Choi Soon Myung, in Kyung Nam, Mill Yang Goon, Sang  Nam Myun,
Ma San Ree, 779.  Originally named: Rhee, Joo Won
1923        
First attendance in Ma San Ree Church.
1924
Baptism.
1926
Mill Yang Agricultural School graduate.
1926 Mar. –
1938 Jan.
Township secretary for 13 years.
1930 December 4
Appointed the first deacon at Ma San Ree Church.
1938 April
Enrolled in Pyung Yang Theological Seminary and started the anti-Shinto
worship campaign.
1940        
Jun-do-sa (pastor-practitioner) at Pyung Yang Yi-no-rhee Church
1940 May 13
Arrested by Japanese police in Pyung Yang Seminary dormitory, jailed
in Pyung Yang police station, and imprisoned at Pyung Yang Prison
for the total of 5 years and 4 months.

Appointed as a pastor-practitioner at Mill Yang Ma Sang Church’s and
became the 12th minister of that church.
1946 – 1947
Appointed Chang Won Church pastor-practitioner as the 17th minister.

The first graduate of Ko-ryuh Theological Seminary (Pu-san) with the fellow
graduates: Cho Soo Whan and Whang Chul Do. (

Founded Seoul Sung San Church, which was dispersed by June 25th Korean
War of 1950.

Appointed pastor at Jang Seung Po Church in Ku Jae Island.
1951 March 6
Anointed a pastor at the 54th Kyung Nam Synod held in Ma San Moon Chang
Church along with six other anointees: Pae Soo Yun, Kim Hee Soo, Kim Jang
Won, Jung Hae Dong, Sohn Myung Bok, Park Sung Keun.

Founded Sung Nam Church in Taegu.
1961 – 1963        
Appointed pastor of Dong Sung Ro Church in Taegue.
1965 – 1967 Oct.
Appointed pastor of Joong Ang Church in Eu Jung Boo (now part of Seoul)

Appointed pastor of Sung Kwang Church in Seoul.

Appointed pastor of Dal Sung Church in Taegue.
